HOW TO GET HERE

Torredembarra is very well communicated due to its geographic location. The national road N-340, running trough the catalane cost is linking our small town to Tarragona and Barcelona. This road has a bypass from Creixell to La Mora, to reduce traffic within our small town. The highway A-7 as well, is connecting us by nº 32 way out.

BUSES

There are many companies covering different routes, stopping at Torredembarra:

• PENEDÈS (977 66 08 21), goes from Vilafranca del Penedès to Tarragona, or el Vendrell to Tarragona, stopping at Altafulla, Torredembarra, Roda de Barà, Creixell, ...

• HIFE, that goes to Saragossa, stopping at Torredembarra.

• PLANA (977 21 44 75 / 977 21 10 30 / Fax: 977 24 31 18): Tarragona - Cambrils / Salou - La Pineda / Port Aventura.

• HISPÀNIA (977 22 68 18 / 977 75 41 47 / Fax: 977 75 40 53), from Tarragona to Barcelona, also stopping at Torredembarra.

• HISPANO IGUALADINA (977 77 06 98): Tarragona - Reus (15-20 minuts aprox.) Tarragona - Andorra.

Torredembarra is very close to 2 airports, the bigger one is in Barcelona: l’Aeroport del Prat (75 km approximately from Torredembarra) and the smaller one: l’Aeroport de Reus (25 km approximately):

You can reach Reus and Barcelona by train or by bus, although the trip will take longer by bus:

By train:

• Torredembarra - Reus: 30 minuts aprox.

• Torredembarra - Reus: first take the bus (Penedès: 977 66 08 21) to Tarragona, then you have to change at the bus station and take the bus to Reus (Hispano-Igualadina). Torredembarra – Tarragona: 20 – 30 min. approx. Tarragona – Reus: 15 – 20 min. approx.

• Torredembarra - Barcelona: you have to take the (Hispània) bus in Torredembarra, which will take you directly to Barcelona), 50-55 minuts aprox.

URBAN BUS

Torredembarra

Torredembarra es un pueblo turístico y comercial con una buena comunicación: por carretera (N-340), por autopista (A-7, salida 32 ) y por tren. Torredembarra es un pueblo privilegiado en pleno centro de la Costa Daurada: está a poca distancia de la ciudad de Tarragona, conocida por su legado romano; Reus, ciudad natal de Gaudí - que posee una preciosa ruta por los edificios Modernistas más importantes de la ciudad -, y a unos 80 km. de Barcelona. El entorno de Torredembarra, tan diverso, va desde el encanto natural del Delta de l'Ebre, la Ruta del Císter (que cubre los principales monasterios cistercienses de la provincia de Tarragona) y Montblanc medieval, al ambiente nocturno más marchoso de Salou y La Pineda.

Torredembarra posee también diferentes facetas: la magia de los Muntanyans, una de las zonas húmeda más importantes de Catalunya, el encanto de Baix a Mar, el barrio marítimo, el antiguo barrio de pescadores, y el área más moderna: el puerto deportivo, zona lúdica nocturna.
